This drink is prepared in only one place – the Zeughauskeller restaurant in Zurich.
First, the bartender pours strong alcohol – rum or whiskey – into a beer glass and sets it on fire.

The burning process burns off part of the ethanol, removing the sharp alcoholic smell while preserving the aroma of the drink (for example, caramel or fruity notes). The taste becomes softer and warmer.

Then, with a powerful motion of the hand, the bartender extinguishes this “fire” using a bottle of good German beer.
As a result, the beer mixes with the evaporated strong alcohol, and guests enjoy its unusual aroma. Would you like to try a glass?
