Clicking hard drive? #datarecovery

In this video, we received a WD10JMVW 1TB hard drive that had already been to another recovery company. They declared it unrecoverable — but when we inspected it in our lab, we discovered the real issue: a bent chassis preventing proper head alignment.

After carefully transferring the platters into a new chassis, we were able to recover nearly all of our customer’s data.

This recovery shows how even small physical deformations can make a drive seem impossible to read — and why proper tools, patience, and cleanroom technique make all the difference.
